Hey, Everyone. I have a 2010 that has the JBL sound package. The guy who had the truck before me must have had an aftermarket sub because there is not one there anymore. The sound is missing just a little something so I'm attempting to add in a small sub powered off its own amp.

I have run the power cable but am not getting any power to the amp. Here are a couple of pics on things that I have checked. The power cable is securely attached to the positive terminal on the battery and the fuse in the power cable still looks good. Any suggestions?

A lift, some wheels, some tires, some performance, some cosmetic and then audio.
Is the amp not turning on? Did you hook up the remote turn on wire? Are you using a Line Output Converter if not how is it tied to your stock system? Normally power, ground, remote wire and RCA is all you need. But if you run a stock deck you will need a LOC, amp with speaker level input or sound processor.

I have an RCA converter that was previously installed (assuming at this point that it is working correctly). The ground is secure in both to the amp and the frame of the truck. I'm assuming my issue is the remote wire at this point. I am going to try to troubleshoot to ensure I am tapping into the right one. Thanks.

Does the amp turn on? Like green light or a indicator light up?

I am not getting any indicator lights coming on. Here are some pics from behind the stereo. It seems like everyone is saying there should be a gray wire that is the 12V Ignition. I am not seeing that. Do you know which one it is?
