    Hey guys,
I've searched the forum to the best of my ability and can't find anything like this.

I've had my 2016 Taco TRD Off Road for a little over 2 years now. It has 2 key fobs and push button start.

Last week I came out and my cars battery was dead. I got a jump, and found I had left my interior lights on, turned them off and went to work (about a 20 min drive). Problem solved, or so I thought.

I got to work and my key fob wouldn't lock the doors. I manually locked them, but dash screen reading "key not detected" and display would not turn off. I thought I might have a dead key fob battery, but nothing I could do so made sure everything else was off and went into work. The next morning, battery dead again.

I got another jump and so I ran home, replaced the fobs battery and took it and had the cars battery tested. It was showing replace, so I replaced it.

At first, it was fine, and everything worked normal. Now, its 5 days later and neither key fob will work with the vehicle. One worked fine for last 2 years daily use, the other worked fine when I bought it, then sat in a drawer for 2 years. Replaced both batteries. Both blink red when you push a button, but nothing happens on the truck with lock, unlock or alarm.

When you take the manual key out of the fob, and manually lock the doors, the interior dash screen and entune system will not turn off, reads "key not detected" on dash display. Still on 10 min later. To save the cars battery, disconnected terminals until I can figure it out.

    Any ideas???
