New and Lookin to buy

Not new to trucks but new to the Tacoma's (always driven Ford Rangers 2wd)

I have to buy a 4 door vehicle late this year or early next year for work (crossing my fingers for a good 2010 diesel)

I like the double cab 4x4 with the 6ft bed.

I really like the Off-road package for the e-locker and wheels/tires but it seems you can only get that with DC 5ft beds.

So i have been looking at the Sport Packages.

I have read a few threads but not much out there giving a field test of the Auto-LSD's. Can anyone with direct experience comment on off-road capability, boat ramps, no rock crawling crazy stuff just general offroad/muddin use of this system?

On the other hand, anyone have trouble hauling 12ft 2x4's out of their 5ft bed?

yea thats the one with a 6ft bed. You cant get an offroad package on that one though. You can get the sport package with the auto-lsd.
