    Hello hello all.

First just picked up my first Tacoma ever - have been a sports car guy my entire life but my first real car was a 96’ 4Runner 5 speed. I must say I was so close to getting a new 4Runner to get into the 4x4 life but something about the Tacoma just spoke to me... and that Army Green is just... yeah. The color speaks for itself.

Can’t wait to delve into this world and move a little away from going fast to going on trails. I figured the best way to get into it since I don’t have tons of time to mod and make my own rig to just start off with a great product such as the TRD Pro. I went back and forth between the ZR2 Bison, Ram Rebel, etc. Hell I even looked at a Ford Raptor but I couldn’t bring myself to spend more on a truck than I did on my M3. Plus something about the Tacoma just does it for me - that utilitarian/rugged/tough as nails look & history.

    Looking forward to it!

I was super close to pulling the trigger on a 2019, then I learned about the 2020s and the upgrades and colors. Decided to wait 2 months.

Pretty sure it’s gonna happen. I already have a go fast car & motorcycle - I want to spend more time outdoors with my dog so I figure this is the perfect vehicle to do it in.

Congratulations. Mine is still on order. Do you mind sharing the build date? I'm trying to figure out when mine will be built.

Awesome color for sure! You’re gonna see a million of these things next year when they make it a TRD Off Road color. Enjoy it while it lasts!

Congrats on the truck. I’ve been a lurker for a month or so but I just signed up to make this comment and I think you’ll see why.
I’m changing my career after 30 years and I’ve been a sports car fan all my life. I’m going to need a rugged daily driver to haul some tools around. While a Honda CRV might be the practical choice, I’m too passionate about cars to stick to just being practical. Like you, the army green TRD Pro really seems to call out to me. Unfortunately to make room and also to get the money for a Tacoma I will have to sell my low miles collectible M3 that I bought new in 2004.

So, how are you liking the switch? Isn’t it odd how you spent your whole life wanting to lower your cars and now you want to raise your new one maybe an inch or two? I test drove a 2019 Pro and I found the bouncy and tippy ride and the sloppy slow steering to be somewhat charming. Mostly because it is so different than any car I’ve ever owned. I noticed I had no desire to drive faster than 60 which is also odd. I guess the days of worrying about speed traps everywhere will be a thing of the past!
