I was poking around my late uncle's gun collection over thanksgiving and came across two new in box MAK-90s. My aunt was nice enough to offer one to me as an "early inheritance" ;)

The thumb hole stock is pure shit, so I have new ironwood design furniture on it's way. Already got a set of 922(r) compliant mags.

Oh My. A good find for sure. If you remove the furniture, keep it in the box or somewhere safe.

An old friend's father bought three Mak-90s, new, for $85 each back in the 90's. I still wish to this day he had sold me one. It's a neat gun!

5100's all around, fronts at 1.75". TSB leaf pack + Toytec TSB AAL
Can you give some details on what parts you purchased for the stock, and grip, etc? And how you went about finishing them? Nice job.

Thanks! It's the type 56 replica kit for Chinese angle cut receivers in walnut from Ironwood designs. I finished the wood with tung oil per the write up on Ironwood's tech page. The butt plate and sling swivel I ordered from aa-ok.com
