The cement Grey Taco build was completely done by Kurt Williams of Cruiser Outfitters in SLC and is really, really, nice and clean. On top of that, Kurt is super nice and extremely helpful. Great guy! Here's Kurt with his wife Candace. Give them a call

That's the build that caught my eye first in the Toyota booth. Thanks again for sharing. I wish I was there.

Lopping the bottom bit off that Tundra front clip did wonders for the appearance. Don't think I'm ever going to be a fan of that rear end though, it's trying way too hard.

Edit: Just noticed the huge new fenders. No wonder it looks way more muscular.

I was thinking the same. The way Toyota engineered that rear bumper into the bed leaves limited options for fiberglass fenders and really limits ground clearance. They should have removed the factory rear bumper, fabricated a rear tubular bumper to match the front, and cut the bottom of the rear bedside at an angle like how Ford does with it's Raptor. Also, the 37's seem overly stuffed. I imagine it was done for aesthetics or to compete with the Ford Raptor's 37" factory option.

Toyota might want to update the fact sheet on their website as it states this truck has the 2.7 instead of the 3.5. Overall, it's a very nice functional build at obtainable prices and I really like it. :mudding:

Agreed. The new bumper and the lights tone down that front end/grille. Looks more palatable. I actually like it.

That rear end though.... I hate it even more than before. I pulled the Pro badge off my Tacoma because I thought it was too much. On the Tundra the tailgate is the badge.

OEM Pro needs an exterior boomer option for the buyer who dosen't need to scream TRD PRO!!! at every intersection. I don't mind the Heritage grill, and like the wider than stock Pro fenders. Ford Raptors are a little loud to look at, but the Raptor can pull off the subtle look better with just the bedside decal delete.

I've watched the 1-3 build videos for this. Super cool. I remember as a teenager walking through the original Toyota RV that this was based on at an RV show.

I wonder what they did about performance and payload for this build? What fun that would be!

    Thanks for sharing the pics.

@PauldF I hope you can check out the ARB booth to see if they have anything new, in particular Old Man Emu suspensions.
