Sorry but I can say with 100% certainty that my Baja high beams through at least twice as far as stock. They are using the high speed spot lenses and are producing a lot more lumens than a very inefficient stock halogen high beam. Also the stock High beam is DOT rated so it literally can't be as bright as something aftermarket.

Love the idea looks great. I definitely want to steal your idea and try it on my headlights in the future.

I'm doing the same mod but with the amber Squadron Pros. Can't help but ask you about the makeshift bracket you used to bolt the Baja Designs bracket to the plastic lamp shroud. The lower part of the shroud is curved and the bracket is flat which would destroy the plastic shroud if tightened - can you elaborate on this bracket you created to handle the extra weight? is it mounted to the inside or outside of the reflective shroud?

I was thinking about mounting them upside down and bolting that baja bracket to the top of the reflective chrome shroud (but i don't think there would be enough clearance for the bolt/nut upon resealing the housing.

    Thanks!

I to was worried about mounting it in that orientation but after some R&D I found that those reflector cups are very very strong. I really didn't do anything fancy here. These lights have been installed for about 1.5 years now with no issues. I have been over some seriously bumpy roads too.

Copy. That's exactly what i have envisioned. I might use a steel plate with a flat rubber piece between the posterior housing and the metal plate. I might also heat and bend the Baja light bracket so it sits more comfortably within that slightly curved highbeam shroud.

That's reassuring to hear the plastic reflective insert is durable enough to easily withstand supporting the Baja light. Gunna be a fun project. Doing double halos and Demon eyes too.

    Thanks bro!

I have set a pros and a extra set of headlights I plan on retrofitting for LEDS projectors so I may run this now.
