thanks for the feedback, hope it's an easy fix. I going to order an F1. Did you have the tubes installed? Thought in previous post you hadn't installed yet.

Is it necessary to remove the front header rail for the install?

You get the Revolver X2? Curious if it is as easy to install as it looks.

Yes to install the side foam blocks to stop water intrusion if you are installing the F1, G2, Fibermax... etc.

What cover do you have again?

I'm still waiting on both of my revolver x2. I'm not sure why they have not shipped yet.

    Thanks Sam

Bak has not shipped my x2's yet. They took my order and payment 2 weeks ago and was not ready to ship apparently. Kind of upset about the situation.

I changed my mind after a bit more research. I decided to go with a color-matched ARE LSII fiberglass tonneau/lid. I want as close to waterproof as I can get (which pretty much limits you to a sold cover) with as much security as I can get. Granted, nothing is 100% secure in this day and age, but it'll take a bit more effort to get into a solid cover than a folding type.

Ordered from a local shop last weekend.

Spoke to Morrie the other day, apparently BAK is backed (pun intended) up due to the powder coater for the Revolver X2's.

Today is a different excuse. I was just told they ran out of clamps to mount the rails. That new clamps should be ready in a few days..

They excuses are getting a little rediculos now. They should never said the product was ready to ship when it wasn't.

Really has me looking into other options. I ha e been looking at the gator fx5 now. If my covers don't ship by Friday I will go with the fx5 out of principal alone.

I am pleased to report that Bak Industries is shipping the 1st RevolverX2 orders for the 2016 Tacoma TODAY! Yes there were some unexpected issues that delayed the 1st Revolver orders for a few days. The 1st rails came in damaged from the powder coater last week and then they actually ran out of the special clamps for the new rails the Tacoma uses because its the same clamp used on the BakFlip models for the 2016 Tacoma. All that is now behind us and orders will start shipping within a few days of orders being place. I am certain that pics and reviews from members will start showing up shortly.

Thanks for the update morrie. I am sure as a store owner it is difficult to deal with manufacturing issues that are out of your control. Cant wait for the cover.

Got my VP. It was also shipped late but received it last Friday. Rail doesn't sit flush with bedliner on tailgate side for some reason on both driver and passenger sides. They also didnt include the hardware to mount tonneau to the rail.
They are now supposedly sending me new rails and the missing hardware. They said they would overnight it on Monday for Tuesday. Now Thursday and the tracking number they gave me is still not registered. We'll see.

What I really do like about this tonneau, which I wasnt expecting, is that I can still use the oem rails. Was really torn between the clean look of this cover and another brand that allowed me to keep using the OEM rails. Now I got the best of both worlds...well almost.
