New battery after 6 1/2 yrs.

so my battery crapped out this am. need a jumpstart.. drove it home shut it off it would not start, just alot of clickiclack..lol... so new battery is installed and starts fine, will the tranny remember my driving habits.. or should i drive it like i stole it,, tks..

Ya, I'm in my 5th year, this winter could be a horror story!

Thankfully, I carry a booster pack around.

 

When I changed my battery, I don’t remember saying WTH to the transmission afterwards. A quick battery swap should retain info. An interesting test would be to hook up a scan tool if you have one and see what data was retained.

 

6-1/2 years on a 2017?

 

Bought in 2016? I got my ‘21 in ‘20. Has 6800 miles

I replaced the one in my 2016 this summer for piece of mind. I dont like them going bad, especially when its hot as hell out.

 

I’m still on my original.
