15% tint over factory all around, U-Haul hitch, Hopkins wiring harness, 2.25" ReadyLift spacer/ AAL kit, 265/70/17's on Gunmetal/Machined Enkeis, JVC head unit w/ Ipod interface, WalMart seat covers, hoseclamp mod, seatbelt beep mod, bedrail bike mounts, 6 D-rings in bed, Pop N Lock
I put 2 Deka pure gel cells in my boat; a group 24 for starting and a group 27 for the trolling motor/fishfinder/spare....the can be mounted in any position...depleted a lot and come back to life every time. I learned my lesson w/ AGM/sealed lead acid...they are cheap too! I had to change the charging profile on the on board charger though...you just need to check on that. When my stocker goes, I am going Optima or Deka all the way!

are you sure it's the exact same. the internals looks the same, but the connectors and casing seems different, although might not be worth the extra $

silverback: do you run dual setup?

I was thinking a PC1200 and a PC1750, or dual 1200 in the stock location.. I'm still undecided on the complete battery setup.

silverback07: I see you used a kicker thing to extend your lead to reach the die hard battery location, care to explain what items you have used.

I also see a fuse block but some other kicker stuff. Do you have a wiring diagram of your setup?

And any of the fuse boxes always hot for stuff to run when key is not in the ignition?

Trying to find a block that gets 0ga in and can send 2ga+0ga+0ga+Xga (car wire) out..

    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/cat_i205_power-distribution-blocks.html

I can't seem to find something like that, they all have smaller cable outputs.

I just installed the Diehard Gold. $130 installed. I was going to do the Optima, $190 @ Sears. Don't get me wrong the Optimas are the best. I have 3 in my boat. One of them is at least 6 or 7 years old & still going strong. But not for that price. I paid $120 for my blue tops.

I had found Summit racing had the best prices on Optimas. I bought one of them from them for $120.

Use the internet to find the best deal.

This may be a stupid question. Can you use the second set of terminals to jump start someone if needed?
