Hey guys. Going to install the 27f size battery using the 2nd gen battery base and wanted to know if that would void the warranty on the electrical system? Buddy of mine works for a GMC dealership as a mechanic and told me to watch out and make sure it won't void the electrical part of the vehicle.
I know Toyota would have to prove that it was a cause of a problem, just want to see what you all thought.

I really doubt anyone would even notice, I think you will be fine.

I doubt that they can deny your warranty for changing the battery, it's like them denying your power train warranty because you changed the tires.

Now if you messed with the stock wiring or did some funky wiring job, then I can see that happening.

Kinda how I feel. At the most, I am going to run wire to the rear from the battery for another inverter to power my mini fridge. I wont be tapping into anything.

I sent my receipt in to Toyota for a 27F battery and they refunded the purchase to me . So I am guessing they did not have a problem with it , and if they ever do I will bring it to thier attention .
