    Hey y'all new to the taco world but been a fam of the 3rd gen 4 runners for a good few years ... Always wanted a taco 4 Dr . Never could I find one under 10,000. Until recently found 1 for 6,000 . Really like to know what are some of the 1st mods that people do .     A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Smart money says baseline (as in inspect or change as needed) all the items that make sure the vehicle is healthy and reliable. Fluids, hoses, brakes etc etc.

    Then use it as is, and modify as you find room for improvements based on how you use it.

    Just doing what everyone else does w/o knowing what you really want or need is, well, playing lemming.

    Since you seem to have off road experience, some basics like tools, recovery and safety gear should all be a given.
