    My bad for bombing the wrong thread with my inquiries!

    Yes apparently 2nd & 3rd Gen suspension are interchangeable for the most part. Bought this off someone with a 2021 to upgrade my 2013 but need help! Lol

    No worries.

    Depending how someone reads a post, it can come off negative as fuck, or sarcastic or even friendly banter.

    But really, most of us here won't know off the top of our heads as 2nd/3rd Gen stuff is not only more readily available, but also in production still.

    You won't find much aftermarker support for older vehicles.

    Could be. I had a 2nd Gen for 6 years that I really liked, but was never a fan of 3rd Gens, so I'm not sure. I do know that @ATX Arc Striker has a post in the 3rd Gen section about 3G shocks he picked up, basically asking the same questions there. Not sure why here, though.

    Rear shocks have 2 different part numbers, because they are different lengths. It’ll probably save a little $ to buy all 4 as a set. But they don’t come with front upper bushings for some reason, so I ordered a set of KYB bushings from the same place I got the Bilsteins from. And my mechanic recommended getting new strut mounts (top hats), so I got KYB’s for those too, from Amazon.

    Did you end up doing this yet, Crusader? I’m about ready to do the same swap that you were considering. I am wondering how it all went.

    @Malvolio Sadly, not yet.

    I had a few expenses come up that I didn't expect.

    Will still get it done though.

    I will post an update when I do.
