Unfortunately 8112s are ALL on backorder & Bilstein are only shipping mostly the 5100s since that's their best seller. No dealer or distributor has the 8112s for the Tacoma in stock right now.

I'm 38 years old and have wanted a Tacoma for the past 20 years and finally got one two years ago. At first I just told myself I would leave it completely stock....but you know how that goes when I have forest roads (fast ones and crap ones) almost to my driveway here in Flagstaff, AZ.

I've been researching and putting together a new build for my 2019 OR DCLB for a good year now and am finally ready to pull the trigger and buy some suspension components. I was originally going to go with a full Fox 2.5 DSC build, but then these 8112/8100's recently caught my eye and seem like something I would really like. Any idea how often a batch leave the factory and come in stock at different vendors? I have not paid much attention to them. It would be nice to pay around $3500 for all four corners, and not $4000 as I've seen in some ebay listings.

Don't discount ebay quite yet. I was able to snag my rear 8100's for $930 shipped for the pair. I then ordered the front 8112's from a different seller who had them listed in stock, but ended up having to wait a few months. Ended up being $1700 shipped after they issued me a partial refund due to the stock notification.

I can't tell you how much I love these shocks. I haven't had a chance to ride in a truck with those Fox 2.5's, but I did ride in an Icon equipped truck and was not all that impressed. These were iredibley easy to install and they have some of the nicest reservoir mounts. I upgraded from 5100's to these, and the difference in feel is more noticeable than the difference between stock and 5100's. I even stayed with the stock UCA's and was able to get a good alignment.

Good to know! Neither of my sellers made the list, but I'm definitely keeping that for future reference. Funny to see Home Depot on that list.

Like 1-1/16 on the driver's side and 3/4 on the passenger side. I'll have to double check for sure.

I've ordered some deaver U402s and Bilstein 8112s / 8100s. I failed to see that the bilstein 8100s are only rated for 0-1.5" lift. I'm trying to figure out how much of a problem that is going to be. What is your leaf setup looking like?

Icon RXT on stage 2, which puts me at +2" over stock with the topper. I drop a 1/4" when I put the tent on during the spring/summer months. The 8100's are a bit longer than the 5100's, so I think you'll be fine.

HELP ME! I am awaiting my last item to start my truck upgrade. I need a REAR LEFT Bilstein 8100 (part# 25-269802) for my Tacoma (2019). If you know of any shop that has one laying around (I doubt it) let me know.

Check out 4WP. They had everything but front (left?) in when I ordered a few weeks ago. Looks like they're waiting to ship until all 4 are in though...

If you order anything from 4WP, you deserve what's coming to ya... pain. Lots of it. A worse company, I've never run into. Rather than tell my personal tale of woe, I will simply leave this here: https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.4wheelparts.com

Any company that has almost 4,000 reviews and 1.3 stars is a nonstarter, in my book. Unfortunately, I didn't do my due diligence before ordering a few bits from them last year. Don't make the same mistake I did.

I ordered mine from Offroad Warehouse in December. They contacted me a few weeks ago and said Bilstein told them they'd be shipping on 1/29. I called them today and they again contacted Bilstein and they are now saying it's going to be a three month wait on the 8100's. Another person canceled their order so they slotted their 8112's for my order but I'm not sure how I feel about waiting even longer for the rears. I'm still considering going mid travel so I might also end up cancelling my order and going with a longer 12" rear shock.

Fronts just came in today. The pictures really don't do them justice to just how freaking big they are. Waiting on rears and leaf kit now.

Heard today that the 8100 drivers side are in a manufacturing run at Bilstein now, so ~30 days out. Just in case anyone else is still waiting on theirs like I am.
