Very cool. I always wondered why Bilstein didn't have a higher end option to compete with King, Fox, ADS, etc. It's not like they couldn't make it happen. They are without question the most experienced shock makers in the business, by a long shot, but they've always been way more into road circuit racing. Glad they finally coming around.

The price will drop, just give it some time. The 6112 everyone was freaking out about a while back have dropped in price significantly.

Dang they look great! I was waiting for these, but Bilstein took too long. Went with the BP51s instead.

It's certainly a unique design, and allows you to swap out coils very easily.

The spring seat just spins off the bottom, allowing you to just slide the coil off

Do you need to remove the whole unit from the truck for spring change? Do you need to preload the spring to turn off the lower collar?

Yes, and yes kinda. The instructions say remove the coilovers and compress the spring until it spins freely before making adjustments, however I was able to use a spring compressor and adjust them on my truck although it was a bit tricky.

I definitely like how easy it is to slip a new coil on there. I have word that the white 2nd gen with these and the cbi bumpers and winch ran 14" eibach coils in a 675lb spring rate. I'll probably grab some 650lb coils when I throw a bumper and winch up there.

Nice I wonder if they are interchangeable with king, fox, icon, etc... coilover springs.

Don't they all use eibach springs?
