Ed - You might want to get the 4 leaf TSB done. I thought everything was good to go with my suspension until yesterday. Had about 500lbs in my bed and the camper shell (whatever it weighs) on. It didn't feel quite right and you could tell it was sagging by looking at it. Took the truck down to the good folks at Courtesy Toyota in Brandon, FL. It took them a while to look over the suspension (good thing since they were able to see that one of my shocks is done) and they are going to give me everything in accordance with the TSB.

Reasonable! how could think that? That's like when you get the wrong order at a drive-thru you call them they tell you come back for a free one. It's not free it was not what you ordered. Fuck Toyota on this one. May be thats why the had two of the top ten lowest selling cars in 2011. Ya a 1000 or so LC's. I'm very t-ed off about this. Class action suit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeah, i am trying to help those who actually want to help themselves. I would love to see you file a "class action law suite" over a noise. My truck makes this damn noise everyday, and you dont hear me complaining about it. I drive a Toyota Tacoma (aka:TRUCK!) Not a lexus or Infiniti or mercedes. Get over it dude, the OP and myself are here trying to help, not trying to hear you complain and make BS threats. So please feel free to make you suite and lets just see how that turns out for you.

Sorry to add to his rant, i dont think this thread is all about this crap, i thought we were onto something good here (even if i do say so myself) the price listed is literally like $3 more than what i would pay as an employee.

I have to agree with you, but sometimes life is shit, and you have to work with it. I yelled at my local dealership because they wanted way to much for a part that should have been in my truck from day one. Oh well, not much I can do about it. A class action suit on Toyota probably wouldn't do much either.

This will be real crap if this new motor starts squeaking, then it may be time for mass riots on Toyota. But again it is a truck, and just think of all the issues you would have if you had bought a Chevy or Ford, a blower motor is small beans compared to the crap theses owners go through, and I know a few of them.

Get over it. I got over a water leak, bad clutch, floor mats, F-ed up bed, factory fresh broken visor clips, radio that jumps channels, I can't remember all the problems but you can go and read my old posts. So I will forget all that but this one is BS I have to listen to the blower for years and have the Toyota srevice A's tell me they are done replaceing it FUCK THEM.

well, based on the way you type i am sure you are a joy to deal with in person. Dont think i blame them for telling you to pound dirt if thats the case. I am here trying to help, either accept it or not, but i have no reason to listen to your complaints. You will be ok, just stop bitching so much. It's just a little squeak, turn up the radio.

And BTW, i really have nothing to "get over" as you advised me to do so.

Sorry to hear you have had so many issues. Have you looked into lemon laws? Seriously, not trying to be an ass with that comment.

I will agree that there are a lot of bad service departments out there, my local dealership has a big bunch of assholes, and the next closest one to me is rumored to have even more condescending assholes, so I can understand your frustration. I also had a Pontiac G6 before my Tacoma and it had tons of issues, and the dealer always said it wasn't covered, because it only had a 36k mile warranty and I drive a lot. My keyless entry system unlocked my car after 30 mins of sitting parked, lights came on, horn beeped, and the dealer said "oh well", I had to get it fixed myself, lucky no one stole the thing in the 2 months I yelled at the dealer to fix it before I caved and did it myself. On top of that the steering column went twice on the car, I replaced it once and then sold the piece of shit, GM doesn't and didn't give a crap.

i have no idea where Libertyville Toyota is, but for the most part, when someone leaves a dealer, it's not cause of the product, it's because of the management. I have been with my dealer for 6 years and wouldnt go anywhere else.

Not sure whats wrong with your truck, but seems like you got some pretty shitty luck, it will get better one day, but constantly being pissed off cant be good for you. Try taking up a hobby or a new sport. Might help you relieve some of that stress you seem to be under. Good luck to you.

All i'm saying this should be fixed for free. After all that crap I still like my Tacoma. Toyota has lost it they even said it. Dam it's not only one bad dealer it's Toyota corp. How many Tacoma's driver seats are wearing out on the lumbar support adjustment? Mine was after about 25K, I have 75K now. Just cant for it to rip. Just one more thing. I guess I will get over it.

Dude i'm not pissed off all the time. I sold my pawn shop and been up north for the last 5 months fishing and goffing off. The blower get's me F-ing mad. I guess you are a tech. So what do you tell people after you replaced the blower 3 times and broke the glove box (and did't fix) or fix the blower. Get over it and we will sell you a new one for $100.00. Jason I have no problem with you, I know your just trying to help but look at it from thousand's of Tacoma owners view.

I know you have issues with th dealers you go to, but dont lump all techs together. I 6 years time i have yet to break a glove box dampener clip, i remove them properly. I dont know what else to tell you, but good luck with your truck, hopefully everything gets worked out for you.
