I am looking into getting new front brake rotors and pads. So far I'm thinking Power Stop either Performance or Extreme Truck and Tow. Does anyone have any experience with these kits? Which is recommended if I don't tow much? I'm also wondering where people have experience buying their brakes from or where would be recommended. Thanks in advance.

I personally like DBA, which stands for Disc Brakes Australia, for rotors. I've used their rotors on my G35 (and I demand a lot from my brakes on that car) and have been through a few sets and they always perform flawlessly. Our Ram 1500 also uses DBA rotors and they have also performed flawlessly. I always spring for the 4000 series slotted rotors.

For pads Hawk is a great choice - they offer many compounds based on your need. On the Ram I'm using green compound. When the Tacoma needs new brakes up front, I will be doing the same - green pads with DBA 4000 Series Slotted Rotors.

I like the Porterfield Racing R4S pads and Centric rotors.

Thank you for the suggestions! It doesn't look like DBA makes stuff for Tacomas, but I was able to find R4S pads and Centric rotors for what seems to be a decent price for their quality.
