Contacting the shop would be fine...if I didn't already have my front end torn apart. Now I get to put the whole thing back together for no reason. Wow that was fun.

User error? Really? Dude the inside diameter of the sleeve is .050" smaller than the outside diameter of the bolts. Sorry...but that is not caused by user error, that is caused by lack of quality control. I've dealt with off road fab for the last 8 years, this isn't my first rodeo. Even someone who knows nothing about machining can figure out that this isn't right.

Fair enough. Sounds like you may have a legitimate problem. Sorry to hear that.

I think CA charges sales tax on all purchases. Even non-resident Internet orders. You probably paid about $40 in sales tax and about $30 in shipping. That part wouldn't really be his fault.

I love mine. They were an early order and quality was second to none. Perhaps quality control has slipped since then. I don't know. I suppose as long as they are willing to make wrongs right, its still a good deal.

If they'd open tomorrow I would've gone and put them on, too bad they won't. I'll be in SD tomorrow.

After closer inspection, the sleeves were cut to size but never machined inside to allow the bigger bolt to fit. It is really hard for me to stay happy after this whole deal, but other than that the arms look great. Hopefully I can get this taken care of and they will perform like everyone says. I will keep everyone updated as more things happens.

What a PITA! Now I'll be busy all week so I won't even be able to put these arms on until the following week. That was a lot of work for nothing. I sure hope they don't make this mistake with anyone else.

For those who have installed these: When putting them on, did anyone notice if the inside diameter of those sleeves were machined or not? The sleeves I'm talking about are the 1" .250 wall pieces of chromoly that go into the bushings.

I had mine installed last week. All we used was lithium grease and a vise to press them in. The stock bolt went right through with no problems. Had other problems but that was bad install on the tech. These UCA's need to come with install instruction...

Glad to hear yours went smoother than mine. The sleeves will definitely be tight going into the bushings, but the stock bolts are nowhere close to going in. I either wait until they send me the correct sleeves or I take these to the machine shop and have them machined to the correct dimensions.

Well, that was the easy part of the install. My tech f up a sleeve for the uniball and it ended messing up the actual uniball. I had to buy a new one and had it pressed in. From that experience, make sure you bolt the uca to the spindle first, then bolt the bushings in that back.

Did he ruin the machined insert that goes in between the uniball and high mis-alignment spacer or the actual high mis-alignment spacer itself?

Oh ouch. You should of just been able to buy the single spacer though I believe. You shouldn't of had to buy a whole new uniball.
