I don't understand the whole HID or LED or whatever stock is. All i know is I want a color like this... Its clear white I'm looking for not blue or yellow. and I don't want to change the lights just the bulbs. Can someone attach the link for whatever you suggest. I want to do the headlights and the fog lights the same color. and I want them as bright as they can being the color i want. They must be brighter than the stock headlights and fogs. So basically really bright in white or whatever you call the color light from the picture I attached. but i don't want to change the day runners. Also i think i need a new set for headlights, mine are pretty faded. so some stock lights would also be great. and maybe some new rear lights like from the newer tacomas. anyways if you guys can help me with the bulbs that would be best. I would love pictures. and Links to where i can buy them.

Looks like a drop in HID kit. Those require adding a ballast along with the bulbs. You won't be able to get that color with a halogen bulb. They make halogens with a blue coating to try to replicate that look but they are never really the same. I believe Sylvania makes a "Cool White" bulb or something along those lines that are slightly whiter than your stock bulbs though.

    Please don't.

The reflectors were not designed for drop-in HID kits and the result is harsh glare to oncoming traffic. Also, CHP has been cracking down on them lately.

I recently came across this experience as well (wanted a nice white color but didn't want to go the retrofit route). I purchased some Philips X-treme Vision bulbs for $50 off www.powerbulbs.com (free shipping + 12 month replacement warrenty) seeing that they had decent reviews under the "Maxiumum Performance" category. The light output is better than stock, they're less less yellow than stock, I can see more of the road than stock, but they certainly aren't the pure white colour I was hoping for (partially my fault for not checking the actual colour temperature info, instead I believed the gimmicks).

Check out the "Styling" category. I believe the dip tinted bulbs is the only way to achieve the white/blue colour from halogen bulbs (I could be wrong). You can't go wrong with Philips or Osram though, but I would still suggest looking up additional reviews on somewhere like Amazon. I'm eager to see how they fair compared to the ones I got. :)

    Here's the 2nd Gen Taco (H4 bulbs) link: http://www.powerbulbs.com/ca/store/category/car-bulbs/fitting/h4-472

Front ICON extended travel 2.5 remote resi, Camburg UCA's. Rear ICON 2.0 remote res rear. Wheelers 3 leaf HD progressive AAL,
Could also be drop in LED replacement kit. They are designed for stock reflectors and emit that white/blue hue you are looking for with out the damaging glare that comes from an HID kit improperly installed without projectors.

    PIAA halogen bulbs work well.

have these on order, to see how they compare. 1/5 of the cost after shipping.

Note, while the coating on the bulb is blue, the light output is white. Anything between 4000K & 5000K color temperature is the bright white you are looking for, above 6000K has blue color to light output. Stock is typically 3700 - 3900K color temperature.

I found the Philips Chrystal vision have the brightest light, had them in my truck for two yeard so far. As for matching fogs, I use the Pilot off-road 9145 bulbs, only found them in Autozone or Pep boys.
