Got the first modification done on my 2015 TRD Sport! Bullet Proof Fab Mesh Grille with Raptor style lettering and Blue LEDs. Turned out pretty good and was a fairly simple install. Hopefully soon I'll be doing lift, wheels and tires!

Pretty much stock with some crap welded to it.
99% sure u could get pulled over for impersonating an officer with those leds, grill looks neat tho.

Looks good! LED's are personal preference so who cares what the others say. Just dont drive with them on.

Ya people have their opinions. I have driven with them on a little bit and passed a few cops with them. Haven't had any issues yet. If something happens I will play dumb and not drive with the on anymore after that. I have only driven with them during the day though so they're not as noticeable.

So why bother having them? Why not just put some white bright lights that will actually make a difference?

It goes well with the truck. It's just for decoration, that's it and that's all. I'm a fan of it and that's all that really matters.

If I were you I wouldnt turn them on at all while driving. Being in the fire service we dont like it when non-emergency personnel have any other colored lights but white and orange up front. Just think if you get pulled over that officer might not be so nice and cite you a big fine.

blue lights are not impersonating an officer. Plow trucks have them with no issues. Op, nice work on the grille and the LED's, kinda like the raptor stly but colour matched.

I suppose it depends on the laws where you live. In CT, it's a no no and it's enforced. Nothing but white or yellow up front here with red and blue only for emergency personnel.

Don't worry OP, mods aren't usually met with much negative feedback, some people are just concerned about you getting pulled over and honestly I am a little too. If you don't get pulled over and it's legal, go for it. I like that they are color matched. But if it is illegal, you might just have to go white or amber :notsure: Sucks for ya but what can you do. Nice mod.

I would match them to the color of my DTRLs or parking lights. Then they can still match and flow well.

Hey, lots of LEO's here who risk their lives for a living and don't make the laws. Wouldn't go saying that around here (Well I wouldn't say it at all, but you get my point). OP doesn't deserve a locked thread.

Edit: Berk I see your point and I agree with that more than I agree with the original statement but we really need to change the topic based on former experience on TW.

Unchained, Changing the topic, I wonder how OP feels about my suggestion to match them to DTRLs. I think that would look cool, or maybe I'm just on an LED kick since I bought some.
