I'm sure some of you are familiar with this bumper. I am replacing my old one and am wondering if I should add a coat of something to protect the black paint on it. Any suggestions what that something would be? I'll try to post a before and after.

Watch it tho, Ive seen these come with a cheap cheap powder coat on it. For this Price id say its going to be the cheap thin powder coat. Same stuff I get on my parts from local aftermarket parts dealer, Id personally would paint over it.

    Pretty much stock right now
I bought a similar one off eBay two years ago and the finish is already bubbling around the edges. For the money, I did not have high expectations for rust resistance though. If I were doing it again, I would would apply another finish to both sides in hopes of extending the life of the powder coat finish.

Yea mine is similar. Where did you get your paint and what kind did you get? I don't want to bring it to Maaco because they will probably charge me 200 bucks.
