New camper top.

Alright everyone. All suggestions welcome! I came across a ford ranger camper shell for $50 I couldn't pass up! It's a little short for my Tacoma but I kinda like the idea of a shell. What would be best way to seal and raise it about 2" off top of bed? The most cost affective and cosmetically appealing is what I'm shooting for. I currently have some cut off 2x4 pieces under it to see what it would look like. Here are some attached pics. I will be doing a full truck and shell monstaliner paint job in jungle love green next week. Hence some primer spots from rust removal.

 

Bump, and can this be moved to the bed cover section please?
