New carrier bearing question

    when a new one is installed,is it safe to say that there should be a little play in it when you move The driveshaft? All my ujoints are replaced but getting a low vibration at about 60 miles an hour is where the sweet spot is, anything above that like over 70, it goes away, it doesn't do it at 50, thanks guys.

    the rear shaft up to the carrier bearing will move a little because the carrier bearing has a rubber bushing. You shouldnt have any vibration, unless it was put back together improperly or theres other bearings going out. Or the carrier bearing is twisted...
