I test drove a TRD Pro and didn't actually see this one until I picked it up. Even then, most of the stuff I listed was an afterthought I noticed later. On the drive home: "huh ... the seats are grey". Go to configure the garage door opener: "huh, there isn't one".

As you mentioned though, *small* complaints. All in all it's a nice truck and will fit my needs nicely.

 

Good looking truck. All of the things you don't like *are* available, they just cost extra. You chose a lower trim (and probably paid considerably less than upper trim models) Now you have some money left over to do some mods you'd like.

 

Nice find! Looks a lot like a Pro! Just black out the back bumper & take the front chin spoiler off & enjoy!

 

Congrats and welcome to TW. Most of your complaints would have been addressed with the Off Road (push button start, lock/unlock via door handle, darker interior, paint matching rear bumpers, etc.). But looks like you got a nice truck! The best option for your seat covers are Clazzio (Clazzio.com). They are leather and look OEM. Good luck with your new truck!

Anyone used paint from these guys before? Maybe I'll gain some confidence and try painting some myself. I've done a little paint work ... but usually on stuff I didn't care if I had runs or if it wasn't super shiny.

Interesting, I can't find the package on toyota's site but maybe its a dealer-specific package.

 

Yeah I had a hell of a time finding it when I was messing with the build tool, waiting on this thing to be delivered, ha.

It's under 'Accessories' rather than 'Packages' (because, you know...) ... and then it's waaaaayyyyy at the end.

It is weird to me cause I don't see those options/packages/accessories when I configure a truck... This same thing happened when I was configuring my TRD pro... I saw a screen cap from someone else that had different options and different packages and accessories available!



Maybe because I am in a gulf state and the distributor doesn't allow certain configurations? It may be a regional thing... I see your example says FC22 mine says FC14 I can't change that...

 

Some options are only available in certain areas. When you plug in your zip code it changes what options you can choose. Was playing around the other day and wanted to build and OR in cavalry blue and it wasn't an option where I live.

 

If I’m not mistaken it’s a Southeast Toyota only package/accessory.
