Are we still complaining about the Third Gen engine and lack of low end torque/power? :deadhorse::laugh::drunk:

    That's not a manual.....

If it doesn't have 3 pedals, I don't want it.

Only worth it if you have a lot to tow all the time . 60K or more for a nice one without big discounts lol.

There is a slim to no chance of Toyota offering a V8 in a Tacoma. Even less of chance of offering one with a V8 and a manual.

My buddy owns a GM dealership here so I could get as good of a deal as anyone. But yea it won't be cheap. My last couple of vehicles were over 50k so I'm not a stranger to buying more expensive vehicles.

I'll do it when I'm ready. I'll keep my tacoma for a year or two anyway just so I can stick around here and keep providing my feedback on it. I appreciate your concern for my purchasing decisions though.

My point is , unless you have a lot to tow , do you really need a Duramax to haul dogs in the box? A lot of people could buy one but do you need it for more than hauling dogs in the box ?

Well the old lady wants to buy a travel trailer at some point and the tacoma is not going to cut it as a tow vehicle up to the high country for much more than 2500lbs

maybe if we ignore him and his misery he will fade away . I think the majority of 3rd GEN owners want to enjoy their trucks and use this forum for those purposes. this guy and those that are his followers have started more fights and pissing matches than they are worth.
