Hello TW community- new member here, but long time follower of the forums for mechanical advice. I consider myself a novice wrench turner. I’ve gained most of my knowledge from YouTube and forums like this one. I recently put a new clutch in my 2005 2.7 L Tacoma. Everything seemed to go smoothly (at least by my novice standards). I’m able to shift though all gears including reverse. However, the clutch has quite a softer feel than what I was used to previously. Also, when I release the clutch pedal, there is sort of a sucking noise around the half way release point. This happens even when I’m in neutral. It feels like the disc just slides across the flywheel briefly, then the clutch grabs. I’m not sure if this is normal, and will work itself out as the clutch settles in, or if there could be air in the hydraulic lines or another issue that could cause this. I hope I’m putting this in the right place, because my internet savvy is comparable to my mechanical ability. Any input would be appreciated. I hope the explanation is clear enough

I had a tiny air bubble on my new clutch on my first gen that made it soft. Bled it out and problem solved.
