My brush guard is looking a bit faded and I wanted to hear thoughts on an aerosol spray on bed liner. I'd be willing to do roll on, but I hate to buy a kit for an entire bed when I only need a fraction of that.

I'd like to do something with a texture on it in an attempt to hid the inevitable wear and tear.

    Im up for suggestions too.

I would if I had the money. I bought the Taco about 3 months ago and it came with the guard.

A lot of people use bed liner products for their bumpers and sliders, and it seems to work good. I personally don't like the texture, but most seem to like it, and as you have said it will hide some of the wear and tear. There are spray-on (rattle can) products (rustoleum etc.) and you can get roll-on in smaller cans at auto parts stores and even Walmart, so you do not have to buy the whole gallon-size can that you would get to do your bed.

I've always like satin black on grill guards, not too shiny and not dull like flat black or BED liner. Since it's black I think either way you'll be able to hide the imperfections.

What kind of imperfections are we talking about??

Rustoleum bed coating, then spray rust oleum satin black over it. It's a nice look

I never thought about that, get rid of some of the flat of the bed liner.

Are you talking about the roll on liner?

A few scratched down to bare metal but some light scratching and sun fading.

No sir, they have a spray coating that is very durable and easy to apply. It's about $10 a can at Home Depot
