Trusting ANY single news source is foolish, which can lead to 360* of stupidity.

It’s about demographics. The basic bitch who wrote that article wants the Tacoma to be something it’s not.

18 here and [knocks of wood] no problems or any issues to speak of what so ever. Happy to have TSS as well which seems to work great.

I feel bad for those that get lemons or trucks with major issues but do not believe that reflects the majority. Imho and not just because I have one, 2018 was the best model year second to the 2020, so not sure what CR is smoking but I want some of that!

That sucks ass. Never would have been issues with 1st gens. The word Tacoma does not mean what it used to mean.

Really? There was never one 1st gen with mechanical problems right out of the gate?

Seems hard to believe, but ok...

In salt states? Of course. You just don’t hear about it because 1) they don’t have a forum with a bunch of nerds on it arguing all day 2) they didn’t issue a well publicized recall campaign addressing it 3) because like 5 people still own them and 4) they’re usually toast by the time they rot

all frames with iron and carbon rust. All of them.

You guys are animals. I bet you’re all sworn to be eternally single after one girlfriend turned out to be crazy (crazy bad). All girls are crazy. All girls are:puke:
All CNNs and CRs are :puke:

Nuance related to stance and the millimeters off from plumb you perceive in your tailgate-to-bedside metrics? Got it. Nuance related to everything else? Talking points not written by you. FFS, it’s only Wednesday.

Lol you guys crack me up.

My 2019 had issues before they gave up and bought it back. I think I'm part of the small minority of owners with bad trucks, but I didn't wanna chance getting another one, so I bought a first gen.

Even with my experience, ,I still wouldn't discourage someone from going with any new Toyota product though.

Wowzers. Hard to believe you assumed i was making that claim by my response to that post with a long inventory of problems atypical of past Toyota brand expectations.
