Anyone running the Cooper S/T MAXX? If so how is it in snow and mud? How is tire noise on the highway? What size are you running?

My dad has em on his 07' f350 I think their way overkill of a tire for our lighter trucks. The cooper guys told me they were built for big heavy trucks like a ford. Check their specs

Just had discoverer s/t maxx 265/75 16 put on and they look great. I havent had them in the mud or snow yet but i can barely hear them hum on the highway. So far they are a great tire.

Just install at set of 275/70/18 MAXX. These things are QUIET! I was really worried, but I'm very happy with the way they ride. Granted, I don't have but a few miles on them.

I too am interested in this tire, if some could chime in on any decreases in MPG. Looking round I see they are load rated E, that would make them a heavy tire. I would be repalcing my GY DuraTracs, which have been a really good tire over all. But the $200 plus per tire is making me look around.I found the Maxx's for 188 per (265/75/16). With all the good reviews I have found thus far, they at the top of the shopping list.

A friend of mine with a chevy 2500 had a set of 5, he does a full 5 tire rotation, and he got around 65k out of them! And he tows almost constantly! Granted he had 5 so if you went with 4 I'd say you'd be looking at 50-55k easily!
