    i mad some custom shifters out of dogwood the other day, shaped them, stained em, put trd stickers on em, then cleared over everything to burry the stickers and give them a good slick feel

    preciate it guys, feels way beter than stock knobs cause mine always got sticky when it got hot ;)

    neglect, mostly.
    i really like that man. what do you have holding it on there? do you have a nut in it so it can be screwed on and off? the 2nd gens maybe different, but i know mines made to be unscrewed on and off making it a little tricky for a custom one.

    yea all shifter knobs are made to be screwed on and off, i just drilled the whole in the shifter knobs slightly smaller thant the threads on the shifter itself and used a little elbow grease ;) and threaded them on there since the wood is way softer than metal it makes threads in the knob itself, ive had em off three or four time and had em on there for bout 6 months with no trouble and the are super tight so they dont like wiggle around at all
