TicTacOma, when you were working on the bed rail, is there a nut behind there I need to be concerned with falling out; or is the back end where the bolt is screwed down attached to the truck in some manner? I just ordered more D rings for the bed rails. I did six in the bed and love this mod.

It's all in my head at the moment...
There is a "nut plate" or something similar behind the bed wall. I was waiting for the "drop" but nothing, so have at it. I used blue thread lock when putting the Torx fasteners back in. Remember now....I'm using those D-rings as a quick hook instead of having to drag out the factory tie-downs for the rails. I'm not sure of the what that single Torx fastener can handle so use your OWN discretion.

It would not be used for "real" tie downs. Just keeping things from flying around. The ones on the bed are for load holding.

    Thanks again man.

    The D-ring work great.
One thing I need buy washer to on top D-ring, to make easy to tied the bolts.

    No torque wrench to buy.

I got a set but haven't installed them yet. I thought I'd be GTG if I just picked up a torque wrench, but locally $75 is the cheapest I could find. Looks like it is going to be a bit before I install mine.
