Throw some self etching primer on before the paint and it'll save you from repainting when the paint peels.

No idea but I wouldn't be surprised, I'm not complaining lol I was one of the few to get one of these bad boys from the 1st batch. Just goes to show how crazy high the mark up likely is from ARB

I was looking at their front bumpers and I was told they are almost all made in Thailand to cut costs now.

Hm they should make them cheaper then, I might be inclined to get one. Always liked the ARB bumpers on 1st gens but for ~$1k I can get a better looking one

Picking up the hole saw and self etching primer/paint today. Was about to order extra fender clips - did anyone have them break when removing the flare? 16yr old clips so...

I think I managed to not break one or two of them but of the 8(?) clips, most of them broke coming off.

yeah one of the two clips designs comes off more easily than the other....the other I couldn't get off for the life of me and it held on tight, to where it felt like I was going to start warping the metal fender trying to get it to pop out. So I just used a knife and cut through them with the serrated edge to prevent damaging something more expensive, the clips are cheap and easy to replace.

Good to know. Still haven't decided on using the included rivets or go with screws. Decisions, decisions.

Rivets. Just do rivets and not worry about the screws rattling free.
