New design eBay snorkel

    Secured the snorkel bracket to the a pillar using nylon inserts (like the ARB snorkel - at least the ones I came across on youtube).

    As for that top nut on the snorkel itself, I GOT IT. So messing with it again, washer slipped off and dropped down where the fender connects to the cab. I could not get it out of that little space no matter what I tried. There are 2 bolts which secure the bottom of the fender to the cab. Removed those 2 bolts and was able to retrieve the washer. Removing those 2 bolts actually allowed the fender to pull away a couple of inches. Pulling it away was just enough to get that last bolt on!

    If the nylon inserts loosen or become an issue, I will pull them out and deal with riveting it in place but for now everything is together - finally.

    That article u posted on the design is no joke. I expected my filter to be soaked and maybe even a puddle in my airbox but it was totally dry.

    I thought those slit things were just to assist with clamping but it guess the water gets forced outward and out of these with the air pressure- neat.

    It's only been around since about October of last year, went out of stock in late November/early December and they restocked sometime in late Dec or early January. I imagine they'll restock again soon. The price did go up about $30 last time so it may go up again.

    a few of us are waiting, and I sent them a message and they replied quickly saying they didnt know when the next stock was coming in. And i doubt they will drop the price with all this demand theyre getting.
