I was able to slip mine right on with minimum effort.

Hipefully I can get this on by the weekend. Gonna kind of spread it out during daylight hours after work. Big holes, little holes, rivers and silicone, then mount up. Truck would be static in the driveway.

What about the old Toyota letters? TeXX Or whatever? That might look decent. If you know what I’m talking about anyway.

If I put anything there it’ll probably The the badge that came with it, cause it’s funny.

I fed mine in and out multiple times assembled like that. Just squeeze the rubber and bend it around the antenna inside the fender, you’ll be alright.

I’d try and see if in could slide the rubber part farther on as well. For what’s it worth, I even had my hose clamp on when I passed it through. Didn’t want it slipping around or off.

This one? I just can’t make it ‘wrap’ into the oval with my program.

Nice. I would rather have a gel badge than just a vinyl sticker/decal. I’ll be looking into those now.

this... I really didn't have an issue either. With all the 'delays' this seller has had who knows how many suppliers they have used. @JKO1998 - maybe work that thing on there as best you can, heat it up and then leave it attached for a few days. Maybe the cold weather is playing a factor.

it shouldn't be at all. Not sure how that's going to work trying to install it with the hose on the snorkel end. Going to be a bitch fitting it into the fender i imagine. :fingerscrossed:

Can you take a full shot pic of the snorkel with the tube attached? That doesn't look right from the angle - maybe just me...

Oh it might not be, I can spin it a little if I need to.

Not afraid to take it off either, just don’t wanna.

Can you shove a large glass or can I to it then pour in some boiling water? Not sure if it’d keep the new shape after it’s cooled off though.

If you have space enough in a freezer can you freeze it all put together. Then remove the snorkel after it’s good and cold while keeping the rubber piece in the freezer until the last minute for install?

I boiled it to get it on, seemed like it help. Was hot as fuck though and I’m too stubborn/lazy/dumb to get gloves.

Quick update, today we had some pretty heavy rain - took the truck out mainly to see if my leak fixes worked successfully on the back door of the leer cap.

Hadn't been in the rain with the snorkel before so was very curious to see just what it sucked in. Was driving for about 20 mins in a couple of good heavy rain downpours. Checked the airbox when I pulled into the garage, completely dry! no trace of moisture in the box or on the filter.

cap door no longer leaks either lol - thx Lowes, marine seal worked out good.

You sure can! That's how got mine in. It'd be impossible to put the rubber hose on after the snorkel was bolted on.
