I think they are still good. I was just unlucky enough to get one bad part. Nothing that can't be fixed. He has told me he's sending another. Even if it doesn't show up, it's still a better deal than ARB. I'll just have to come up with my own tube.

When the haters start hating, I'll just show them this. I live in N.C. and have been through my share of hurricanes. A few swamps and such when I'm hunting as well so yes this was a need for me.

I've had mine on for a few hours and instantly noticed a difference in throttle response. It breathes alot better air. Basically the same as an arb. Glad I didn't wast
The one I recieved was perfect fitment but it had a bunch of rat shit on the inside! And inside the snorkel air ram.

Originally from Raleigh but now I'm in Lee County just a few miles from Sanford. I live on the Cape Fear River. Looks like you are in the Charlotte area.

Snorkel almost claimed a victim yesterday on the trail...sucked up a butterfly and lucky for him, I pulled over to check something out and figured I'd look at my air filter to see how it was doing (was going through a lot of water/mud).

He was holding on for dear life...took some encouragement to get him to let go but he flew off.

Update on the bad intake tube that came with mine. I made contact with the seller at the end of last week and he said they would ship me a new intake tube. Well it being from an ebay seller on the other side of the world, I just figured I would never see it. That like A LOT of ebay sellers he would never follow through. Well, he is following through! Late last night I got a message from him and woke up this morning with a UPS tracking number! Needless to say, I'm stoked! Guess there are a few honest people left in this world. Shows it being here Wednesday. Man that's fast!!

I’ll take one of any color. Don’t really care which. How can I get ahold of one of these?

I would be in for a Grey TEQ design.

@CBoy808 Can you swap out the grey TRD design for a grey TEQ? (If there is enough interest that is)

Well its nice to see that Safari/ARB isnt the only choice when it comes to snorkels now.

Has anyone had to take out a cold air intake to install a snorkel? I'm trying to find out how much OEM stuff I will be needing to buy before the snorkel happens. (2001 3.4 L)

Pretty certain you have to revert back to the stock airbox to run a snorkel, unless you cutomize it to fit somehow. I think that's why @JKO1998 had to get a new stock airbox

Well I mean, a snorkel would be pretty useless with a cold air intake, function wise. Atleast with every style of cai I’ve seen.

You could install it fine for looks

I figured the air box was a definite was more curious about the rest of the parts.
