Any good ideas on securing this without the use of rivets?

I rough sanded the area under the bracket on the A pillar and then rough sanded the bracket. Previously I used a JB Weld body panel 2part epoxy and it held up to WTX summer and heat and maybe 20k miles before breaking loose. I just last week cleaned it up and used a regular clear 2part 5 minute epoxy and will see how it holds up. I'd rather not have to poke a hole into the A pillar but that may be in the future. I'll try another body panel epoxy then it's one of those threaded pop rivets with some JB Weld involved, too.

Yeah, I tried using sticky back industrial velcro and applying epoxy on the hook and loop parts. Worked really well but then the sticky back velcro pealed off from under the bracket, most likely because I didn't rough sanded it. I'll give that another try.

I had the same thoughts. Didn't want to drill into my pillar but then I thought....well you have a giant hole in your fender now so what's a small hole or 2 in the pillar going to hurt...LOL...So I bought stainless screws and haven't looked back. That snorkel is never coming back off of my truck. If it gets damaged I'll just replace it.:burnrubber:

I've seen a few of the foam style that just slip on. Seems like it was on eBay but its been a while. They were kinda pricey.

It's not that bad and if you ever do need to remove it for whatever reason, patching a few tiny holes really won't be that hard. I riveted mine in and have had no issues with it moving or coming loose, I think it's the best way to do it especially if you offroad a lot. In dusty/muddy/freezing/bouncy conditions I just can't see trusting an adhesive to hold up

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
If you ever need to have your windshield replaced, a lot of glass shops will not touch it with a snorkel in place.

I riv-nutted mine, for this reason.

Just pulled the trigger on one of these finally. I figured after having water come up into my steering shaft hole and halfway up the windshield it's about time to invest in one.
