That garage door looks like it needs some paint. I'd be willing to bet that you can use the Max fogs to burn the old paint off. Can't wait till mine arrive!

That’s awesome. The cutoff seems appropriate for daily road driving as well. The glare spill of the pros steered me from them bc I’m not trying to piss people off driving around.

can you provide us with some on road photos of the Max? I’d like to compare with my current sports in Yellow SAE fogs.

The garage door is from 1958 and needs replaced after we pay off the new roof and windows. The garage door is the only thing that hasn't been replaced since we bought the house.

Here's a couple pics. It's raining here, so it's not a good night for seeing how bright they really are. I have to take them out and pull the brackets back some, so they can be lowered more. They swoop up pretty high on the outsides at a distance. The pics show the fog beam is way wider than the Morimoto XB Headlights. 20201212_200548.jpg 20201212_195850.jpg

That is SUPER bright!. Looks awesome. Thanks for taking the time to take these. They really are much brighter than the sports.

agreed that they should be lowered just a couple degrees. I would hate to be blinded by these max fogs.

that being said I’m somewhat still content with the sports and even though the max is super bright and nice... they are about $500 which I can’t really justify yet as sports are working just fine for me. But damn, maybe one day isn’t he future I’ll rock these hahah

So I tried adjusting the brackets and they wouldn't let me lower the lights enough. I had to dremel the bottom of the bracket so they would aim towards the road and not blind people. You can see in the after of how the lights are actually hitting the ground now

Ya stock bumper. I do have a Bilstein 3" lift and add a leaf in the rear. So my truck isn't raked like factory.

I ordered the SS3 sport over the black friday sale. I put them in last weekend and i really like them. The max were just too expensive and not sure they were ok for road use so I didn't consider those.
A few members posted in other threads that the sports we're good for them in Mostly road use so I went with them. The beam pattern is lower and wider than my Hikari ultra led low beams. So far I'm happy.

this. I went Pro, for budget reasons. I love them, and would absolutely go MAX if your budget allows. I was able to drop them such that I've gotten no negative feedback from oncoming drivers, so despite the spill, it's a win.

Seems to me based on all the reading and feedback: ANY DD fog option is a drastic improvement, and market best option, Sport bests the competition, and is only exceeded by the other DD options( Pro, then Max).

@kidsmoke for $180 with sales tax the sports blow the stock halogens away. I looked at Baja designs they seem good too but DD seems like a better value. I would say go pro version if you can they are only going to be better. Not sure about the Max because of price and you might get negative feedback from other drivers. That's why I picked the sport.
