Can't wait to see these! I'm curios to see how these in SAE Fog will compare to the SSC2 Pro SAE Fog? Great for a motorcycle!

I saw DD mention in the fog light thread that these will be on par with the SS3 Sport Fog in output which the SS3 Sport yellow is 91lux @ 10m vs SSC2 Pro yellow is 75lux @ 10m.

It also begs the question if DD will make a Max version of the SSC2. I would assume they would since the SSC1 uses the same LED chip as the SS3 Max.

I'm also wondering when the Stage Series light bars will get revamped? A Max chip in bar would probably be on par with the best of the best or even better them.

Sorry, this is just me rambling and speculating! haha

I have taken runs at my DD contacts, and they have dismissed my hopes of a SSC2 MAX. Doesn't mean it won't happen, but I wouldn't count on it.

They have been tight lipped on the Stage Series light bars getting upgraded too. I figure they will do it, but I don't know of anything soon. As you can see though... There's cool things coming!

Hopefully the SSC2 gets a Max version. I kinda get why they wouldn't though. It would likely eat into the SS3 Sport sales and possibly the SSC1 now that its coming soon.

I assume the delay on an updated light bar since they have probably been focusing R&D on their pod lights before the Stage Series bars.

I'm excited to see what they release next, wished I had your insight!! Personally I feel like a rival to the VLEDs Triton series might be on their radar since they have so much experience with TIR optics to spread the light evenly in a brake, blinker, running or reverse housings. It's nothing against DD on their current line up of LEDs, but I prefer the Tritons for how they fill a housing with light more than any other PNP LED and they are more discrete when looking at the housing as well.

These look awesome! Also, I would be so stoked if they came out with upgraded stage series lights bars. I’ve been holding out hope they will eventually so I can upgrade my current one.

I had the V6 Tritons in my Tacoma rear turn signals and loved them. They're sitting on a shelf right now since 1) My 4Runner doesn't use any of that style of bulb and 2) Even if I tried, the Triton's won't fit in a 4Runner rear turn signal location.

Hmmmm. I hadn't considered brute force. VLED's said they won't fit.
