    Time machine. That's what yours will look like in a couple years. I haven't seen him yet as I am 7 hrs North but I'm told he's pretty big. Standing next to my mom I'd say he's 22-24 inches.

    Depending on how well behaved he is, might think about taking him to a training school or classes. I had a border collie, similar in energy and intelligence and they are great dogs but can be scary smart. I used to take my boy on bike rides, I couldn't keep up with him otherwise. Good job getting a rescue dog, every one of mine has been and they've all been great.
