Picked up my DSM UCA's the other day. Got an offer for a free powder coating so I couldn't say no. I went with a Bronze color:

Here is the way I got them:

    Here they are finished:

The lighting makes them look more gold tone, but in normal lighting conditions they are darker and bronze :D So excited with how they turned out!

These will be mounted tomorrow, so I will update the thread with some initial thoughts and review.

Got them installed today. The aligned beautifully, the 1st time my alignment has been this perfect since I had no lift. Tracked true and makes the ride enjoyable. A few shots I will get better soon:

I have mine on since last week, but haven't been able to get out to the trails yet. I will take pictures and some impressions when I do. Hopefully it will be this upcoming weekend out next.

DSM UCAs are awesome. I cant be happier with them.

First off they are beefy. The boxed welds make then strong and heavy!! Very easy to put together and set up. Make sure you have your grease of choice and i used a rubber mallet to get the bushings into the arms. Grease everything up real good as your installing makes it easier to install and than u can fill them the rest of the way with the grease zerks. The Uni ball its really smooth and again very easy to install. The hardest part of the whole thing was taking the old ones out. you have to pry/cut up the inside of your wheel well alittle to get the bolt out that holds the UCA in place. buts its not bad.

    speak of the devil.

as for getting the old ones off and the bolt back in on the new ones, that's obviosly for any arm.

i like the new sig btw, ryan

    :D

True any arms you will have the issue of taking the old ones out and putting new ones in. Just the poor design of how everything lines up.

Yeah i was playing around with it wanted something new.

Took off yesterday to Corral Canyon to do some trails. Really got the opportunity to flex the suspension. One thing I really wish we had some sway bar disconnects, so I'm going to remove the sway bar to get all the benefits out of these UCA's.

Didn't realize how much difference the UCA's would make offroad until yesterday. I makes everything so much smoother than before. As for on-road my truck drives like I don't even have a lift on. Tracs straight down the road I had some slight vibration in the wheel but its all gone now. These have really be more than worth the expense and I'm really happy I picked a set up.

It will be a few more weeks till we go back out but I can't wait.

What are you guys' alignment numbers after these? needing new UCAs and it's between these and the TCs. I'd rather have these if they can take a 3" lift into the 2.5* caster area...
