New engine/head gaskets

    Hey there guys. I own a 05 tacoma with 205k miles with head gasket issues. After doing research I've found it to be pretty common. So I'm looking for some direction and opinions on which route I should go. Was quoted 4500-5500 on the head gasket job but was told its almost just about the same amount of labor to put a newer engine in. Do any of you have used engine site preferences? Where would you go to look on a lower mile engine and whats the common damage on a new engine $$$? Thank you!
