    FYI

    21’ 3.5l 30k

I had a new low idle, after warmup engine tick around the top passenger side and a intermittent buzzing noise from the drivers side rear Coil/Spark plug area.
Master Tech diagnosed in two minutes. He pulled a vacuum hose off on the firewall and it went away. The culprit is a vacuum pump. Buzzing sound was the PCV. Vacuum pump on order and PCV replaced. Warranty covered the pump.
Had me nervous for a bit thinking it was more valve train issues. All is good

It is a good thing when a mountain becomes a mole hill isnt it, good for you and the tech that found it.

I have this same little tic on my 2021 AG OR. Kind of bugs me but assumed it was injectors or something that is normal for this motor. Thanks for the tip. With all the horror stories that appear on this forum, it is encouraging to hear there are some great dealer mechanics out there.

The OR and Pro don't have the pump. So that's not what it is. It's probably the injectors cleaning themselves.

Please explain why, OR's and Pro's do not have this pump. But evidently SR-SR5-Sport and Limited's do.

    Rear locker? :notsure:

Because our brakes aren't vacuum boosted. They're electric/hydro boosted.

Ok. Why the difference? Something to do with the Crawl control?
