Welcome aboard, whereabouts?

 

well, 25 minutes north and west of Portland, so most would argue I am still a Masshole and I grew up in a town called Worthington between Pittsfield and Northampton..

 

I know where Worthington. I'm in Westfield by Westfield high school. Spent lots of time out in Huntington, Blandford, Otis, and Worthington

 

My kids (who never had visited that area) took me out there for a long weekend to see the Hilltowns, hadnt been there in 30 years? man, I miss it out there... forgot how awesome the 413 can be..

 

Yea there are some decent areas out here. Lots to see if you enjoy the outdoors. When I had moved to NH the song Massachusetts by Aaron Lewis use to get to me

 

Ever had one of those days where you're petty and it feels amazing? I typically always turn the other cheek, so when I don't it's just...fantastic.

I'm deep into building yet another variant of a guitar (ugh, I know) and I had some leftover parts. I have a loaded Squier pickguard up for $19.99 on eBay. It's probably not worth much more than that, but this isn't important to the story. I got an offer with about an hour left in the auction for $15.00. With one person watching I figured there'd be a sniper bid, so I countered at $17.50. Dude comes back at $17.00. Really? I countered with $25.00 and then blocked him from buying.

Granted, now it didn't sell, but knowing the person didn't get it is sooo satisfying.

 

I listed my 3d printer (new in box, literally) for $175. I enclosed the company's link and Amazon's link to the product for sale, and specifically said both are selling for $250 plus shipping today so I think my price is fair enough. Some bellend offered me $100. I countered at $225 and he got mad. I said "well I listed the price comps and said in the header firm price. You seem to feel it's negotiable. So do I".

Dickheads.

 

Been thinking of selling one of the guitars in the stable and I'm not looking forward to dealing with that shit. Between the people who think they're entitled to low ball because it's they think they can get it for whatever bs price they think it's worth and the fees I gotta pay out for using ebay/reverb.... maybe marketplace will be kinder to me

What guitar? Not in the market now (I’ve bought four this year) but I enjoy some good guitar porn.

Though if any of y'all have video game stuff you want to unload, I wouldn't mind..especially if it's Atari carts

 

J mascis jazzmaster, I actually really like this guitar and hate having to part with it but it's in great condition and I can restring/setup/intonate for whoever ends up with it! I can swap the strap with black too
