My bet is you don't have one Mike, mine didn't..they said it is a recent thing that they've begun doing with the ethanol issues.

Especially the jets/ passages. Those along with the bowl float are the culprits 99% of the time. Problem is, the passages are so small that no "cleaner" will flush them clean, even if you soak it. If they get gummed up you've got to take it apart to get to them, and at that point might as well rebuild cause you're halfway there.

Mines from the early 90's, not sure exactly. It's a snapper, which has long been out of business.

Pretty sweet though, has zerk fittings all over the place. None of those BS greased for life deals. Got it "not running" on CL for $200. $45 new carb and $30 rebuild kit for the original car later, and it's a beast.

Though, mine has a newer Tecumseh engine, which probably explains the newer style carb with spring loaded drain.

My '83 Evinrude outboard does not have the drain

Anyone buy any cheap tool sets lately. I'm looking for a nice 120 to 190 tool set for my truck. Just something that has sockets, wrenches stuff like that. I checked sears and lowes and lowes seems cheaper like 150 buy never brought there tools before. Any good? I'm usually a seats tools for life but if I could save 25 bucks I will
