Nope, I was doing my own thing and looked up while the other one was leaning on the hood having hers taken. Then they saw me and asked if I minded. I laughed and said sure

I never buy new tires, I buy 'new-used' take offs from Craigslist or Marketplace. My last set was from a guy out your way in Greenwich, NY. Not sure if he's still in business, it was a couple years ago, but it was James Nulty on River Road. He had a warehouse of all new take offs he bought through dealerships that took off the OE sets to 'upfit' them. I was buying for my Ford, but I recall he had several Chevy, Dodge and Jeep wheelsets, not sure about Toyota stock but might be worth a call :notsure:

I get emails from Direct tire, Goodyear and I think another one. Usually someone is offering a deal, might have to use their credit card, but so far I feel I have save a few hundred over the last 3 sets of tires or so.

Found some tire tracks at the back end of the property. Talked to the neighbors, said it was at least some of the same guys they had problems with last summer and fall. He heard them back there again and went to look up and down the road and found 3 NH plates with an NH trailer parked off the road next to someone's mailbox.

I didn't really want to have to post the land but the neighbor and I are gonna do it this summer. Sucks.

I like a battery powered inflator for things like that. Lightweight and no cords or hoses to deal with. You can also set the psi you want and it shuts off when at that point. Not too expensive if you already have batteries. Most if the major tool companies make one.

I have a 2 gallon hotdog type Husky compressor that I have had for probably 15 years. It is loud and slow but works fine when I can't use the one in the garage (30 gal Craftsman with a retractable hose reel above it). I used it in the basement for finish nailing cedar boards most recently. I almost never use it for tires because everything is close enough to the garage to just use that.

It was great. Played a good variety of stuff from past albums. They still sound great live.
