Same, certainly not the right tool for the job but it worked on a Volvo and a Subaru and it still works. Has a little slop in the gear.

i like just putting the lugs on very loose and taking a spirited ride around the block.

Once used a come along and a tree saver but that was a Ford:bananadead:

This is what I do. Leave a lug nut a few turns on and start smacking the tire

I do a couple of Karate Kid style kicks to the tire. It works. Our 4Runner wheels always get stuck even with anti seize.

Anti-seize is just like mustard. They both get everywhere!

I know some of you guys are good with carpentry/construction here, so please help:

2013 I had the deck for my pool built. Turns out a few years later some things weren't done right and I had to get it fixed.

It's a 15 long by 4 wide deck. Looks like the middle 4x4 closer to the pool is starting to move off the concrete footer. What needs to be done to fix this?

Explain like I'm a moron please as I am on this subject haha

Hard to say without looking at it. It could be as simple as bumping the footer block over, or it could be anything from a little bit more than that (pull the block, dig a gravel pad for it, and replace) to reframe the deck because it's insufficient to handle the load.

Sometimes smacking the tire doesn't work, the hammer just bounces off. I smack the inside of the wheel with this: The worst offenders are GX's with high miles.

That’s my weapon of choice although all my vehicles have anti-seize on them. When I first bought my current vehicle, the wheels had never been removed. I couldn’t budge them, I did the karate kicks, the rubber coated mallet, nothing. I ended up leaving the lugs a little loose and driving in the driveway. Sounds sketchy, and it is, but I was out of options and it still took quite a few turns until it finally broke free. That was the worst I’ve ever had to deal with.

Fair enough, haven't had one stuck enough to have to start hitting the wheel yet

I think that's for heel/toe. The pic might be from a race car.

Nah the momentary brake light switch, mounted off to the side of the brake pedal...

Nah, don't think so... Looks like an old truck based on direct linkage through floor on throttle pedal....

That's what I was thinking also, that lip is just so you don't slip off the skinny pedal with boots.

Anybody know anything about lawn mowers? Just took ownership of this John Deere 100 series that my dad was told is going to be expensive to fix, apparently a 135? Has an issue with the engine, regardless of throttle or choke position it revs to and stays at redline on startup. Supposedly the governor is the issue. About to start pulling the motor apart…
