I have their 'top of the line series' F1. It's all yours if I pull the trigger. I will need the $$$ for the next topper. I was worried I wouldn't be able to sell it, so if you want it that would be HUGE and help me make a decision. It's an awesome cover, I'm just looking to go in a different direction.

So anyone who has installed their bamf sliders, why is there 7 bolts with plates and 3 without?

I love the hard topper but if you have the need to remove it frequently, it can be a PITA to remove. It's just heavy and bulky, 2 people make it a fairly easy job but storage is tough due to the size and you don't want it to get scratched up. The hard topper is nice because of the ability to lock it and it's actually weather tight. A commercial grade topper would have ability to mount a rack on top and support a decent amount of weight. The downfalls of the hard topper are fairly obvious, moving large items is not easy.

The brake lines on the driver's side were in the way and I don't know exactly what to do about it. I uncliped the lines from the frame for now and will drill new holes in the frame to relocate the lines later. The bolts near the lines, I put them in backwards so the head is toward the inside the truck and the threads are on the outside. This keeps the threads away from the lines and reduces the chance of chaffing. My dad also dropped the front piece inside the frame and it took us 30 minutes to fish it out so don't do that :)

Otherwise, we balanced the sliders on a floor jack, rolled the jack in position and jacked it up in place. It was then pretty easy to get the bolts in place, then tighten everything down. I only installed the side bolts, I didn't drill the frame yet, that's another day...

No idea, I put plates on the side but they won't be required for the bottom holes. I plan to buy additional washers for the bottom holes.

Passenger side is a breeze! I should have started with that side. It's not a bad process, very easy.

Mike nice job on the sliders. I broke the clips when I tried to remove from the frame (very brittle). My plan is the same redrill and relocate

Did your bolts interfere with the lines also? I ended up putting the 2 bolts in backwards so they wouldn't chaff the lines.

Nope. I'm just getting the 42" ES for my roof rack. Then I'm relocating the 4" XTs to my headliner as hidden reverse lights/gtf off my tail lights. Just roll the window down a bit and BAM!

Then I'm putting the little monopods as rock lights or something parallel to my frame rail pointing down and outside towards the front of the truck.

So did you guys use the washers on the front two bolts where the frame is boxed? Because then there is no washers left for the bottom of the frame

I used washers for the 2 front bolts on the outside. I plan to buy more washers for the bottom of the frame although Jerry said washers aren't required for the bottom holes.

Yup but my clips broke so I just secure them higher. I like your idea of the bolt head in

I figure when I take them off to drill bottom and prob touch up I will do the brake line clips as well as add more flat washers or flat stock
