That's a big boy wow. Mine's 2/3 the size of that thing.
I have it direct to the main battery and replace with a 27F AGM.
Last year it was using one of them butt plug 12V connectors and it was kinda finnicky. Did an anderson last fall and it has been mint since, kept temp and hasn't overheated or anything. I think my connector was an issue and it lost power a couple times last year. Held 37-39 through yesterday's inferno, so no complaints. Will set it to 0 and throw some freeze pops in next week and see what happens!

To each their own my friend. My camp meal desire is to be lickity split so I can get back to liquid dinners and adult grapejuice.

I miss that place. Expensive for the staples, but produce and meats were bitchin'.

Hey by the way how do you like trailering your kayak? I'm toying the idea of a cheap trailer.

I like it. Getting it registered was annoying, mainly cuz the seller wouldn’t get me the info I needed for it but that’s all done now so it’s gravy.

the size I got, I can’t even tell it’s there. Like to a fault. I start to worry lol

launching it directly is nice. Unloading it to a wheel cart for some of the launches definitely sucks enough that i would rather just fish somewhere with a real ramp.

Almost had to use the winch a couple times with the wheels starting to dig into the gravel

If they actually really enforced the "no phone use whilst driving" alone, they'd make tens of millions in no time.

Laboratory upgrades. Need to bench test some stuff and I'm also finally going to start putting together an Aux ECU to handle a couple stupid things with the Tacoma. No more sketchy DC-DC converters hooked to random orphan tool batteries.

We're supposed to get some rain this afternoon. I'll believe it when the ground is wet. It seems like there is some sort of protective dome over our area. Storms come charging in our direction and then just disappear. I followed one storm on radar and it broke into two separate arms. Neither of which dropped rain on us.

I'm due for an oil change and know that I'll need front brakes as well. I just hope they don't take off the rear drums and see anything like that. These Texas mechanics don't really understand rust. I see 70 year old cars and trucks sitting in front yards with rust, but even that's not nearly as bad a 15 years in MA.
