    My RR axle shaft sheered. seals, retainers inner and outer along with bearings pressed on the new axle ugh. I just put my stock open 3rd back in.

    i dont have any lights other than what came on the truck lol. i have two hella 500's but havent done anything with them/dont really plan to.

    22" would look small on the roof I would think. I saw the Sierra Expeditions kit for the 50" and love it! They didn't list the price and I'm not even gonna ask though... :eek:

    I'd still change it up a bit and get some good distance lights mixed in there. LED's are nice and all but they've got a long way to go before they can replace halogens and HIDs.

    Headlamps are not distance lights regardless of whether they are HID, halogen or LED. No OEM headlamps will stand up against an off road distance lamp, they're simply not meant to throw light that far.

    I've got my lights wired to my high beams. On dark, desolate back roads, I've never been bothered for using them. If you use them in a populated area, well, ask AJ how it worked out for him :rolleyes:

    On-off-on switches FTW! One position lets all my lights be cycled using the high beam switch, or I can shut them off, or turn them on separately without the headlights. You're right though, technically the way I have everything wired is illegal. Fortunately the guys who do my inspections either aren't smart enough to figure out the wiring or just don't care. Hell, technically my fog light anytime mod is illegal... :rolleyes:
