I'd volunteer to take care of this guy..and I have coyotes near my house who can skin the evidence alive haha

That said I also agree with the comments about liking what I've worked for. In my early 20's I loved mosh pits and was the enforcer who would pull someone aside for getting too rough and beat the shit out of them if it kept going. Owning a shitbox car and TV set plus being a drunk meant I had nothing to lose. I'd still enjoy throttling someone for being a douche but rather not have them living in my house and enjoying my pool.

I got a tacoma with an automatic. After driving it with an auto box I don't think I would have bought a Tacoma if they didn't sell it with a stick.

What don't you like about the Tacoma's auto transmission?

not sure if trying to sound like a manly man, or if serious. the 5 speed auto in the 2nd gens is a stronger transmission, and half a second quicker.

Not trying to offend anyone. It was in 5th gear at 30 mph and wouldn't kick down till I gave it more than half throttle. I understand it's for gas mileage but it just felt slow. It was a 2012. I never test drove an auto

Put me in a 4.0 6 speed vs any 4.0 auto modded and lifted the same and I'll win. Driving 600hp+ cars on a dyno and road testing them daily I'd kick ya arseee

5th gear at 30mph in an autotragic? Was in locked up? If it didn't kick down it was defiantly locked up, slap the pedal to the floor or shut OD off if possible

 i like my 6 speed but it could be better. Having a 6th gear is awesome on the highway, i downshift to 5th alot especially now with bigger tires.

hmmmm... professional drivers who drive more modded/faster cars than anyone in here for a living, test both out to find specs, and say that the auto is half a second quicker, but if YOU were driving a 6 speed that wouldnt be the case??

I know what you mean... Sometimes I'll drive around in lower gears to keep it out of O/D for that reason but it's never bothered me. I do miss having a stick shift at times but with the traffic I sit in daily, I'd probably hate in a few days.

So having a dealer plate on a Raptor loaned out on my name would be my truck...Ok I'm up for that.

But I'm pretty sure my 4 banger could loose I have no idea we should all have a meet in Epping like said 200 pages back.

I agree it could be better. My clutch master cylinder had to be replaced. And I heard there were batches of bad clutches used as well.

I want to drive and new taco but then i'll probably leave the lot with one. Maybe I'll test drive some next week when I have a few days off.

I can drive this around and see the quickness
